Chew Jetty, Georgetown

Clan Jetties (Chew Jetty)

Cuaca di Penang hujan waktu ini. Selepas check in HRH at 4pm, kami perlu bergerak untuk task pertama kami iaitu shooting, Travel and Food video contest. Sebanyak 13 team untuk 13 lokasi berbeza. Team kami ke Clan Jetties ke salah satu jettynya iaitu Chew Jetty.

The Clan Jetties are unique Chinese settlements that have been around since the 19th century. Along the wooden pier are villages on stilts that house the descendants of Chinese immigrants. There are eight different clans that still reside here, with each individual jetty named after their surname. Likely the most tourist-friendly would be the Chew Jetty whose residents occupy the entire stretch of jetty. Today, these houses remain homes to a number of families , so request for permission from them before snapping photos there.Credit to http://www.timeout.com/

Task shooting ni bagi aku agak 'teruk' jugak la. Me as 'behind the scene' kena shoot, kalau boleh sepanjang masa shooting berjalan, Lenguh aihh tangan duk pegang Ipad aku tu...serius boleh tahan penatnya tapi takkan bodoh nak shoot benda yang sama, ye dak? tapi dekat 50 lebih video gak la aku ambik..but nvm, at least dah tua2 ni get involved dengan orang2 muda, rasa la jugak diri tu muda dan bertenaga. Alhamdulillah....

We were here until 8.30pm.
